Dr. Ryan Butts

Dr. Ryan grew up near Greenville, Ohio, and graduated summa cum laude from Greenville High School in 2009. While there, he was active in show choir and loved playing varsity soccer and tennis.

As Dr. Ryan transitioned to his undergraduate education at the University of Toledo, he soon became active in CRU, his church, the Big Brother organization, and Sigma Phi Epsilon as well as serving as a resident assistant for three years. In 2013, he graduated magna cum laude in exercise science, and that same summer, he married his hometown love, Kurstin, before moving to St. Louis to start his studies in chiropractic. In 2016, Dr. Ryan graduated summa cum laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic and subsequently opened Wellspring Family Chiropractic in late 2019 after further developing his expertise in Grandview and Plain City, Ohio, practices.

Dr. Ryan is competent in many adjusting techniques including Diversified, Logan Basic, Thompson, and Gonstead. However, as one of a very limited number of chiropractic physicians, he has earned an advanced proficiency rating, the highest certification, in the Activator Technique. When using this method of adjusting, Dr. Ryan can gently and precisely correct the body’s alignment without twisting or cracking. He has also completed seminars in Kinesio taping, functional rehab, and yearly Activator recertification.
